FACILITIESW.G. Davis Computer Research CentreW.G.Davis Computer Research Building
The laborator is located in the north-east segment of the University
campus, on the third floor of the W.G.Davis Computer Research Building.
The Davis building houses research laboratories, faculty members, graduate
students, and support staff of the Departments of Electrical and Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, and System Design Engineering. The
Institute for Computer Research, and the Engineering, Mathematics and Science
parts of the UofW library are also located in this building. The Davis building was built during 1986-88. Its floor area is close
to 300,000 ft2. It has a striking external and internal architecture. A
discussion of the principles underlying its design can be found in the
